Permanent eyebrow procedures can provide a "lift effect", that helps to re-invent the structure of the eyelids by reshaping the eyebrows. Our permanent make up artist works "hair by hair," using natural tones, in harmony with the colour of the hair around the eyes, as well as the type of skin.

Our Microblading artists are Phi Brow certified. PhiBrows is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and golden proportion.

The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18, who wants to correct the aesthetic problems of their eyebrows. In order to successfully perform the treatment, the skin must not be in the regeneration process, i.e. it must not be damaged.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Please allow up to 2 hours for your first appointment and 90 minutes for your second. When you arrive to your appointment, we will get you to fill out your consent form. During the first part of your appointment, a topical numbing cream will be applied to your brows (this will need some time to take effect). During this time, your technician will carefully measure and balance your brows, working with you to achieve the perfect final shape and color. We will also take a "before" picture. The Microblading itself is quite quick.

When you're all finished, we will snap a quick "after" picture and go over your after-care instructions. Your take home after-care kit includes an antibiotic cream, Vaseline and cotton tips to ensure that your brows are protected and cared for throughout the healing process. Your comfort is important throughout this process, and we encourage you to discuss any concerns you have up front, as we want this to be a positive experience. Before you leave, we highly recommend booking your follow-up 2nd appointment in 4 to 8 weeks.
POWDER BROWS

Powder Brows is eyebrow shading technique performed with permanent make-up machine using the combination of dots and shading to achieve a very natural, soft powder, pixel effect. Unlike conventional permanent make-up, The Powder Brows technique is building up the eyebrows with a special shading technique. Powder Brows technique involves filling in or thickening of areas with a soft or darker color which varies in transparency. As opposed to creating Microblading hairline strokes from scratch to cover bald or thin areas, the application of thousands of tiny dots of pigment inserted into the skin gradually, ensures there are no harsh edges and shading makes the look slightly softer.

IMPORTANT AFTERCARE ADVICE
(7 to 10 days after treatment)
- Avoid the sun for the first week after your brow treatment
- Do not use cleansers or any makeup on the area, and avoid facial peeling or laser procedures.
- No swimming, no spas, and no direct running water on the area
- Do your best not to touch or rub your brows
- Your brows must be covered in your after-care cream at all times to ensure your skin stays hydrated and to encourage the pigment to set. The best possible healed results require strict adherence to the aftercare instructions.

A. It is a similar technique, but the pigments do not penetrate as far into the epidermis. A hand tool with fine needles is used to create tiny hair like strokes using a hypo-allergenic pigment. The pigment is gently worked into the skin and generally lasts up to two years (results will vary depending on the client's exposure to sun and skin type).
Q. Do I get to select my colour?
A. This is something that you and your technician will do together, based on your skin tone and hair colour.
Q. Is it painful?
A. There is discomfort involved, but is manageable and worth it! Topical anesthetic is applied during your appointment to minimize any discomfort.
Q. Can I make changes once I have had my procedure?
A. No. Microblading is often called "semi-permanent make-up" because the results are long lasting. If you are nervous or on the fence about the procedure, we recommend booking in for a complimentary consultation, as well as asking to see photos of previous microblading work to make sure that this is the look that you are ready to commit to. If you chose to use a lighter pigment for your brows during your first appointment and wish to go darker, we can certainly do that! We are happy to schedule touch up appointments approximately 6 weeks after your first appointment, once your skin has healed completely.

A. Your brows will be one to three tones darker on the first day, and will gradually lighten during the healing process. While healing, stay out of the sun and keep your brows covered in aftercare cream. Afterwards, use sunscreen on your brows to prevent the colour from fading!

A. There are a number of factors that determine the time your microblading or powder brow will last, as pigments tend to be expelled by the naturally occurring oils in our skin. Generally, the results will last between 1 and 3 years. Microblading does not last as long as block tattoos because it is done in fine, delicate strokes to ensure a natural look. Factors that play a role in longevity are skin type and pigment colors used, sun exposure, and exfoliating treatments. Procedures such a Botox, as well as the use of Retinol and AHA's ( lactic, glycolic, citric, and tartaric acids), can fade or discolor your semi-permanent makeup. A refresh treatment is suggested every 12 months to keep the shape and colour looking it's best.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ALL PERMANENT MAKEUP PROCEDURES

If you must cancel your appointment please notify us within 48 hours.
No-shows and appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the $50 deposit.
For any cancellations outside this period, we will re-book your appointment at the next available time slot. If you reschedule more than twice, we will require a 50% deposit upon booking your third appointment.
In addition, Deco De Mode reserves the right to charge for any appointments that are missed without notice. Fees will be added to your bill.
